Ingredients: Karuppu kavuni rice, Raw rice.
Preperation method:
For 1 cup of flour take 1 cup of water. Boil 1 cup of water with 1/4 tspn of coconut oil or ghee and salt as required in a sauce pan.When it reaches rolling boil switch off the flame and sprinkle flour mix it well set aside for 5 min. Knead it thoroughly until soft. Put the dough in the "Idiyappam Press" and make long strings. Steam it for 8-10 min in an idly pan. Serve tasty idiyappam with coconut milk or gravy.
